The City of Blackfoot Street Department is responsible for coordinating all facets of the daily operations inherent in providing our community with safe streets.  We provide residents and visitors with dependable street maintenance and repair service along with efficient snow and ice removal.

With the winter months approaching (starting November 15th)…

Please help us keep the downtown overnight parking areas clear for the snowplows especially when snow accumulation is expected.

Here is a copy of the City of Blackfoot downtown overnight parking restrictions:

7-4A-3(C). No Overnight Parking Downtown In Winter Months: Parking of any vehicles on streets and highways in the downtown and heavy traffic areas shall be unlawful from two o'clock (2:00) A.M. to seven o'clock (7:00) A.M. from November 15 through March 1 of each winter season.

Said areas described are those encompassed between West Main Street on the east and Oak Street on the west; Alice Street on the north and Sexton Street on the south; Pacific Street west from Oak Street to Bridge Street; Bridge Street and Judicial Street west from Oak Street to Meridian Street.
