[ARCHIVED] Blackfoot RV Dump Station Project

RV Park Public Involvement Notice Sketch

Blackfoot RV Dump Station Project

The City of Blackfoot is applying for grant funds through the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation, Recreational Vehicle (RV) Program to add a new RV dump station. The City’s current dump station is located at the Blackfoot Fire Department on the west side of the building in an alley. The dump station is approximately 35 years old, interferes with fire services, and is at end of life.

The proposed new dump station will be located northwest of the Parks Department Building near the Blackfoot Airport as shown in the figure below. The dump station will be a single pass dump station with traffic routed from south to north to use the facility. Nearby water and sewer mains already exist and will be tied into for the dump station as part of the project. An existing light pole will be modified to include a new lamp fixture for additional lighting. For more information or comment regarding this project, please contact Suzanne McNeel, City Clerk, at (208) 785-8600 ext. 1819 before January 21, 2022.
